Debt Cures: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

By admin

A friend of mine recently told me about Kevin Trudeau and his new book Debt Cures. Based on all the controversy about there about Kevin, I decided to try to investigate and see for myself. In this blog I will do my best accurately and honestly review Kevin Trudeau’s book and see for myself whether it is a public service or a scam to steal customer’s money. In the process, I will try to understand who Kevin Trudeau is and what make him tick as well as give an in depth analysis of the debt relief tips and methods that he presents in his book, Debt Cures. I’m not sure where this investigation will lead me but I’m sure that it will be interesting. Please feel free to add your comments and voice your opinions which ever way they fall.

I saw the add on TV.

I thought, what the heck, there might be a something useful within it that could learn.

I’m just a informed now from the book “Debt Cures” as child is in life when you have the “Ahh Haa” mind opening moment.

You realize there is much deception all around you every day.
And to keep a watchful eyes and ears out to see it. For if you do, you will never become taken by something so obvious.

Kevin thought me a refreshing course of.
“It’s too good to be true so it’s not.”

The plain fact here is he says nothing.

Learn I did. I’m just as informed now from the book “Debt Cures” as child is in life when you have your first, “Ah Ha” mind opening moment. You see something is not what it claims to be. I’m a forty year old adult now. What I just received from Kevin was a refresher course of basic economics, in which Kevin was my teacher. “It’s too good to be true so it’s not.”
The plain fact here is he says nothing.

I bought his book after seeing him on TV. I have almost finished it.
I think he has some good information in it. I have been trying to get
out of debt since my divorce. I think this will help me.
He does repeat himself a lot and could probably condense it to about
half. A lot of it is common information but I think it is revealing how the
credit card company’s really work. It makes me mad that they are so
dishonest. I think he knows a lot of this because he has used some of
    these tactics himself.
But if it gets me out of debt its worth it.

  4. I saw the TV ad & show. He makes a comment about creating wealth but he only really implies that you need to or reduce your credit card debt. Then he mentions people incorporating themselves and getting a million dollar credit line or cards. If a person couldn’t pay his previous debt how can he pay a card or line using up to a million dollars. Also how does this make him wealthy unless he means a person will get the entire amount of his paycheck back. Maybe I’m not understanding something here because I don’t see how his description of a person who followed the “debt cure” system allowed him to buy and live in a million dollar mansion. Also the book is almost all repetition. He tells you over and over to call your creditors and negotiate. THATS IT!!! Also grants are not easy to get. The book amounts to NOTHING!!

I had to quit working due to a disability. During the transition period from filing for disability and becoming approved ( 5 months) I got behind on two of my credit cards. The fees began to mount and I am now so far behind it seems there is no end in sight. I already knew that the credit company would settle for 50% of the bill, but you have to pay that amount up front. Or split it up in 4 payments, which still made it impossible for me to do. The other 50% (that they forgive) is turned over to the IRS as income that has to be reported on income tax returns. I don’t recall seeing that in Debt Cures. I tried to get a consolidation loan but was denied due to late payments to the credit card companies. Bankruptcy is not an option because in my state if you own a home and it is worth anything you are expected to sell your home and pay your bills. Where my grandson and I would live after that would be a good question. The book did state to borrow money (over and over.) That didn’t work out for me either. I am still behind and do not know what I am going to do. Debt Cures is very repetitive and could have been cut down by 50%. The only thing I got out of the book was another credit card payment. I believe if one is to write a book about such a world wide problem, one should have lived our lives first. Walk a mile in my shoes.
